The biggest challenge I had with this page was getting Splinters expressions to not feel awkward, since I had never drawn a rat before and used various references of his previous appearances in the TMNT franchise to create something that ended up being a mix of his 2003 and 2012 incarnations. Another thing to note is that during the development of this comic I was under time constraints and ended up having to leave the pages in black and white instead of being fully coloured. Though this does give it more of a manga feel, which I am not entirely unopposed to.
