The scene now moves back to Wraith as he locates a point of entry into the research base, where Tech Samurai are loading containers into the base for their research, which continues inside.

The jump cuts on the next page are intended to show Wraith’s speed and stealth, reinforcing the fact that he is well trained. This isn’t to say that all the Samurai are pushovers of course, these ones are mostly overconfident, believing that the lowly ninjas would never even dare to try and attack them and even if they did, they would not be much trouble to deal with. A grave mistake on these Samurai’s part.

These Tech Samurai specialise in, well, technology development, these ones specifically are focused on data collection, which is stored in the computers before being sent off to the main research base where the experiments take place.
