TMNT:SSB - Raphael

For Raphael’s design I once again took some inspiration from the TMNT IDW comics as they have them wearing different outfits which all serve to look both distinct enough from each other turtle but also similar enough as well. I went for something a bit more on the shorter but more muscular build with various scars and a more tattered bandana to show his more aggressive and headstrong personality due to him getting into fights more often than his brothers. I also added some shoulder pads as well. Coming up with these different designs for the turtle brothers is a lot of fun to do. One of the artists for the IDW series, Mateus Santolouco, is also another inspiration.
