TMNT:SSB Foot Ninjas

The Foot Clan being a group of ninjas, I had some fun with creating the design of the basic Foot Soldier. Since I would be drawing lots of them, it was a bit challenging to come up with a design that was simple, was faithful to the Foot Clan aesthetic, but was also fresh in its design. I opted for a more lean body type, taking inspiration from Humberto Ramos’ art style. I also took notes from their designs in other series as well, more so the 2003 style clothing and the colour scheme of the TMNT IDW comic series.
