This scene both sets up the later part of the comic, as well as introducing Feedback, the last of the three main characters. Like Wraith, his design remained largely unchanged from his original, with the only changes being to his gauntlet design, shoulder and chest armour. He’s a close quarters, in your face type of fighter. He’s confident but also a little cocky, has a bit of a temper, but ultimately he means well and would literally fight god to keep his friends safe. You can trust that he’s always the first one to rush into a fight, and he will see it through to the bitter end. He also has a soft spot for Mimic, which is shown later and more will be revealed as the series continues. He’s pretty fun to colour.
As for the samurai themselves, I felt that giving their text bubbles a different colour would not only look cool, but also stand out from the regular text bubbles the main characters have. It also can represent the sound of their voices through their armoured helmets too. I also decided adding the “clank” effect would indicate both their movement and the sound of their armour as well. Making their eyes and parts of their armour glow was also a nice aesthetic I like as well. Makes them look cooler.
